Hoover’s Niblett to coach in Under Armour All-America Game

Hoover, AL – Hoover Bucs head football coach, Josh Niblett, has been tapped to serve as an offensive coordinator in the Under Armour All-America Game January 1st in Orlando, FL.

The all-star game, which is considered by many to be the nations premier high school showcase, is slated to be broadcast by ESPN.

He will be joined in Orlando by James Clemens defensive lineman LaBryan Ray, Central-Phenix City’s Markail Benton and St. Paul’s defensive lineman Ryan Johnson.  Madison Academy offensive lineman Austin Troxell was also slated to play in the all-star game but declined due to a knee injury.

Niblett, who is coming off his fifth state championship since taking over the Hoover program in 2008, will also coach receivers in the USA Football under 18 International Bowl in Dallas on January 17th.

He has posted a career record of 183-45 (118-13 at Hoover) over 17 seasons as a head coach, including six AHSAA state championships and seven region titles.
