Park Crossing’s Cam Taylor commits to Missouri

Montgomery, AL – Park Crossing Thunderbirds quarterback Cam Taylor announced his college decision Sunday.

The three star athlete committed to the Missouri Tigers over offers from Mississippi State, Michigan, Cincinnati, Arkansas State, Connecticut, Troy, Samford, South Alabama and others.

The 6’0, 190 pound athlete is listed as the State of Alabama’s 20th overall prospect and the nation’s 47th overall athlete by the 247Sports composite rankings.

Taylor transferred to Park Crossing from Prattville during the off-season and projects to start at quarterback for the Thunderbirds this fall.

Despite playing quarterback at the high school level, Taylor is likely to lineup at safety for Barry Odom’s defense at Missouri.

Taylor is Mizzou’s seventh commit of the 2018 signing class.  He will join fellow Montgomery Public Schools standout, Sidney Lanier quarterback James Foster, who committed to the Tigers in April.
