Oak Mtn women’s LAX takes down Hewitt-Trussville


Birmingham, AL – The Oak Mountain Lady Eagles (8-0) remained unbeaten with a 10-6 win over the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (3-5) Thursday night at Herdmont Park.

Despite trailing the Huskies by one at the break, David Klementz top ranked Eagles rallied in the second half to hand Hewitt their fifth loss of the season. 

The victory moved Oak Mountain into a tie with the Vestavia Lady Rebels (8-0) for first place in the Alabama women’s varsity lacrosse standings.

Oak Mountain plays host to the Homewood Lady Patriots (1-5) Thursday, April 12th at 6:30 at Herdmont Park.  Hewitt hits the road Friday, April 15th to take on the Huntsville Panthers (0-7) at 6:30 PM in the Rocket City.
