Hoover City Elite 7on7 Day Three

Hoover, AL – A torrential downpour descended on the Hoover MetPlex as the clock ran out in the 2019 Hoover City Elite 7on7 high school football tournament’s quarterfinal round halting play with four teams still standing.

Defending 7A state champion Central-Phenix City, Spanish Fort, Hoover and Charlotte, NC’s Mallard Creek were named co-champions of the second annual tournament.

Two of the strongest teams throughout out the weekend, 7A powers Central-Phenix City and Hoover, are set to open the 2019 regular season August 23rd in the first annual AHSAA Kickoff Classic at Montgomery’s Cramton Bowl.
