Auburn LAX escapes Hoover with 10-9 victory

Hoover, AL – The Auburn Tigers clawed their way past the Hoover Bucs to escape with a hard-fought 10-9 victory Sunday afternoon at Buccaneer Stadium.

The Bucs claimed back into the contest after being down 5-10 at the half.

The victory improves Ben Hunt’s Auburn Tigers to 4-1 on the season. The Tiger’s lone defeat came on the road to the unbeaten Homewood Patriots.

Hoover slips to 4-2 with back to back losses at the hands of Auburn and top ranked Mountain Brook.

Hoover returns to action Wednesday, March 4th, on the road at Jackson-Olin (0-1). Auburn hosts the James Clemens Jets (0-7) Saturday, March 28th at Duck Samford Stadium.
