Thompson’s Jeremiah Alexander set to participate in this week’s Under Armour All-America Future 50 Camp

Alabaster, AL – Thompson Warriors rising senior Jemeriah Alexander has been selected to participate in the prestigious Under Armour All-America Future 50 camp this weekend at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.  

Alexander, currently ranked as the top prep recruit in the Sate of Alabama, will join top prospects from around the country in a pair of on-field sessions lead by top coaches and NFL veterans.  

The 6’2, 235 pound five-star linebacker helped lead Thompson to a 14-0 record and  their second consecutive 7A state title in 2020. He capped his junior season with 106 tackles, 29 tackles for loss and eight sacks in route to being named 7A Lineman of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.  

He committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide in March but withdrew his commitment in October.  Many recruiting analysts still give the Tide a strong chance to ultimately land the nations 14 ranked prospect.  Alexander made recent visits to Tuscaloosa, Clemson and Georgia and plans to visit Central Florida and Gainesville in the near future.  

Listed nationally as the No. 1 edge rusher  in the 2022 class, he currently holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, UCLA, USC, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Central Florida, UAB, South Alabama and Jacksonville State. 

He plans to make his college decision public at the Under Armour All-America Game in January.
