New Vestavia Hills Logo Package Released

Vestavia Hills, AL – After months of debate, community input and over 300 hours of work the Vestavia Hills Rebels have their new brand identity.

Birmingham sports marketing firm Knight Eady unveiled the programs new look and brand guide Friday May 13.

The new schools new branding package will replace the controversial “Rebel Man” logo that the schools sports programs used for decades.   The brand guide incorporates VHHS’s current color scheme and includes some tradition logo marks that have been used by the schools for decades.

In April, Knight Eady released a part of the the groups re-branding effort, a new “1Rebel” mark that ties to legendary VHHS head football coach Buddy Anderson’s popular slogan “If you play one Rebel you play us all”.

The schools system is not likely to replace the physical, costumed, Rebel Man mascot anytime in the near future.
