Brantley QB Jacob Free commits to Vanderbilt

Brantley, AL – Three star Brantley Bulldogs quartrback, Jacob Free, announced Friday that he has committed to Derrick Mason’s Vanderbilt Commodores.

The 6’5, 205 lb. rising senior lead the Bulldogs to a 22-4 record over the past two seasons.  He has complied 4,640 career passing yards including 63 touchdowns through the air against 15 interceptions.

The pro-style signal caller was named first team All-State after leading Brantley to the quarterfinals in 2015.

Free holds offers from 16 teams including UAB, Jacksonville State, Troy, South Alabama, Louisville, Memphis, Marshall and Florida Atlantic.  He has also received interest from Alabama, Florida State and Minnesota.
