Hoover unbeaten at the end of 7on7 day two

Hoover, AL – The Hoover Bucs join Walton High (GA) and Dutch Fork (SC) as the only three unbeaten squads exiting pool play at the USA Football 7on7 Championship Series at the Hoover Met Complex.  

Josh Niblett’s Bucs closed out a rain shortened day two at 5-0-1 taking down in state foes Park Crossing, Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa, Jeff Davis, Baldwin County, Bob Jones and playing Gadsden City to a 20-20 tie.  

Hoover will begin bracket play at 9:30 Saturday morning at the Met.  

Other Alabama teams with strong showings heading into bracket play are Daphne (5-1), Park Crossing (5-1), McGill-Toolen (5-1),  Spain Park (4-1), Gadsden City (4-1), Hewitt-Trussville (4-2), Thompson (4-2) and Spanish Fort (3-3).
