No.2 Vestavia varsity LAX knocks off 3rd ranked Oak Mountain

Birmingham, AL – The second ranked Vestavia Hills Rebels took care of business Friday night in North Shelby County knocking off the No. 3 Oak Mountain Eagles 14-4 in Alabama high school lacrosse action. 

The victory improves Randy Nace’s Rebels to 10-1.  The Eagles slip to 8-3 with one game remaining before the GBYLA postseason begins.  

Oak Mountain will close out the regular season on the road at No. 10 Homewood (5-6) Thursday, April 22nd.  Vestavia travels to The Plains to take on the No. 1 ranked and undefeated Auburn Tigers (9-0) Saturday, April 24th.
