Oak Mountain LAX knocks off Homewood 19-7

Homewood, AL – The Oak Mountain Eagles closed out the 2021 Alabama men’s varsity lacrosse regular season with a 19-7 win over the Homewood Patriots Thursday night in West Homewood.  

The victory improved the 4th ranked to Eagles 9-3 while No. 9 Homewood slipped to 5-7.

Oak Mountain knocked off the Thompson Warriors 25-0 in the first round of the Alabama men’s high school lacrosse playoffs.  The four seed Eagles advance to the the second round where they will face the winner of the April 30th James Clemens (2-10) / Mountain Brook (8-4) first round contest.  

Homewood will take on arch rival John Carroll Catholic on the Cavs’ home turf Wednesday at 7:00 PM.  The Cavilers came out on top 8-6 in the cross-town foes regulars season meeting.
