Bryant Garrison takes over Slocomb Red Tops Football program

Slocomb, AL – The Slocomb Red Tops have landed their next leader on the gridiron.  Bryant Garrison has been named the 4A program’s 35th head football coach. 

Garrison comes to Geneva County from Georgia’s Central Gwinnett High School where he served as the Black Knights’ defensive coordinator and head strength and conditioning coach for the past five seasons.

The former Marion High School quarterback takes over for Richard Tisdale who resigned following the 2021 season.  Tisdale lead the Red Tops to a combined 36-29 record including a 24-16 run in region play, a pair of region titles and three playoff appearances over the past six seasons. 

Slocomb, who is making the move from Class 3A to 4A in 2022, joins Andalusia, B.T. Washington, Bullock County, Dale County, Geneva, Montgomery Catholic and Montgomery Academy in a redrawn Class 4A Region 2.
