Brian Bradford resigns as Stanhope Elmore head football coach

Millbrook, AL – After six seasons at the helm of the Stanhope Elmore football program head coach Brian Bradford is stepping away.  Bradford announced that the Mustangs’ week 10 matchup at Minor will be his last at the 6A program.  

During his six year stint in Millbrook Bradford has compiled a 33-31 overall record, highlighted by a 9-3 run in 2019, with four postseason appearances and a 20-14 mark in region play.  

The Mustangs are currently 3-6 with region wins over Russell County, Pike Road and Park Crossing.

Before making the move to Stanhope Elmore in 2017 he spent three seasons at Chilton County.  From 2014-2016 he lead the 6A Tigers to a 9-21 mark.  

Bradford’s record currently stands at 42-52 over nine seasons as a head coach.
